How can I stream LCTV?

No need to have cable to watch LCTV!

IOS or Android users, use these QR codes on your mobile device to install the Cablecast App!

Install the app and select the LCTV channel to watch our broadcast feed.

Follow the steps below to add the app to your Roku, Amazon Fire TV or Apple TV:

How to Install the LCTV App on Roku

Press the Home button on the Roku remote
Select “Streaming Channels” in the menu on the left of the screen
Go to “Search Channels”
Enter “Cablecast” using the onscreen keyboard
Select the Cablecast app and choose “Add channel”
The app will will install on your system
When the app is installed, a confirmation message will display
Select “OK” to complete the install
The Cablecast app will now show on the Roku home screen in the list of channels
Select the Cablecast app and choose “Lincoln County Television” from the list of Cablecast channels

Installing the LCTV App on Amazon Fire TV

You may install the LCTV Live Stream app 2 different ways:

Using the remote for your Fire TV device

— OR —
Using your Amazon account on the Amazon website

Using the Fire TV Stick Remote:

From the Home screen, find the “Magnifying Glass” and search for Cablecast, the service that LCTV uses to stream our broadcast channel
Select the Cablecast app
It should now be selected in the list of apps
Click the Select button in the center of the circle of navigation keys
this will select the Cablecast app
Choose “Get” to download the app
It will show “Queued” and then “Installing…”
You will also get an email to your amazon account acknowledging the order
Select “Open” to launch the app, or return to the home screen
Once the app is installed, it will appear on the home screen on your device1

Installing the LCTV Live Stream Using the Amazon website

Go to Amazon.com/appstore and log in with your Amazon account
Search for “Cablecast”
Click on the Cablecast app tile
On the right side of the screen you should see “Deliver to: and confirm your device is selected
Below it is the “Get App” button
Click “Get App” and it will be sent to your Fire TV device
It will soon appear on the home screen on your Fire TV device

Viewing the LCTV stream

From the Fire TV device home screen, use the navigation buttons
Click the “Down” button to highlight the Cablecast app
Press the Select button to open Cablecast
Select “Lincoln County Television & Media Center” from the list
Select “Live Stream”
Select “Watch Now” to view LCTV’s live stream
To watch LCTV from the Amazon Fire home screen, select Cablecast

How to download the LCTV app on your Apple TV

Open the App Store app
Browse or search for the Cablecast app The service LCTV uses to stream our channel on Apple TV
Select the “Get” button. If you see the “Open” button instead of a price or Get button, you already bought or downloaded that app

In the App Store, if an app has a Get button instead of a price, the app is free. You won’t be charged for downloading a free app.

How to find apps that you bought

Apps appear on your Home screen. You can move apps around on your Home screen or hide them.

Can’t find an app on the Home screen? If you use an Apple TV (3rd generation), see if the app is hidden. Go to Settings > Main Menu to choose and unhide apps.
