What is Media Literacy?

Media Literacy is a program developed by LCTV to help foster fundamental abilities that students will use throughout their lives.

What do students learn?

Students gain knowledge on how a TV studio operates and how to make a news show! This also develops skills in public speaking, writing, teamwork and leadership.

Why it matters!

Every student learns differently. What works for one, may not work for another. This opportunity provides a fun, unique way for students to learn fundamental life skills, as well as have a memorable and useful experience.
