LCTV BULLETIN BOARD

The bulletin board is reserved for the sole use of nonprofit organizations to announce their missions, upcoming events, activities or public services.

If your organization is not located in a town that fully funds LCTV, there is a charge for each slide. Please contact us for the exact amount.

HOW TO GET YOUR MESSAGE ON THE BULLETIN BOARD

Email LCTV an image file – .jpg or .png, minimum 800(W) x 600(H) pixels (4:3 ratio), dpi 72 – or the exact text you want on the slide and LCTV will choose a background for the text. You may also deliver text only requests by snail mail or by dropping off the request at the station (Lincoln County Television, 29 Sheepscot Road, Newcastle, Maine 04553).

You may submit or request a series of slides to appear one after the other. Please let us know the beginning and ending dates for the posting. Be aware that events are posted no earlier than 30 days from the beginning day of the event.

All bulletin board slides are subject to approval by LCTV.

BULLETIN BOARD SLIDE CONTENT

All messages must announce a specific community organization, event or activity, with a specific time and place associated with the event or activity.

Wording of message must be concise, stating primarily who, what, where and when.

Each slide must be easily read and understood in 10 seconds or less. Minimum suggested font size is 35 pixels.

Statements or opinions will not be accepted on the bulletin board unless they are part of an announcement of the event being posted. No profanity or libelous statements will be posted.
